Hysterical Literature is a web series created by NYC-based photographer and filmmaker Clayton Cubitt featuring woman reading passages from novels. Seems pretty bland, right? Yes, pretty bland except for the fact that the ladies are sitting on a vibrator while reading the passages. And they don’t stop reading until they experience the pleasure of an orgasm.

It explores feminism, mind/body dualism, distraction portraiture, and the contrast between culture and sexuality. (It’s also just really fun to watch.)
